To date: I am a capoeira music composer, I have choreographed numerous maculele performances,I can play and teach the berimbau, I can play the drum atabaque or conga
2002-2004: Belonged to the largest capoeira group in the world Abada Capoeira
2001-2004: Founder of Capoeira group Irmaos Do Condor in the Brazilian army
1990-1993: Started training capoeira with Instructor Adelso, Capoeira group Viva Brasil lead by Master Reginaldo Pinnentel
Training
Sep-Oct 1993: 2 month course with Master Efain I learnt berimbau rhythms, singing and capoeira technique.
Sept 2003: 12 hour personal training course specifically for capoeira, Santa Monica College, 6 Santa Monica Fitness.
2002-2003: Army kickboxing, wrestling and training ‘vale tudo’ (freestyle cage fighting)
1998-2000: Blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu,
Teaching Experience
2008 to date: Currently teaching young people capoeira with project Girassol.

2006 to date: Running a weekly capoeira class in Manor House.

2000-2002: Favela de Amarelinho(Iraja) Rio de Janeiro – Kids project, including teaching kids with various disabilities.

2002-2003: Favela da mariopolis Rio de Janeiro kids project.

2002 Project mel: Government funded project to teach capoeira to kids 3 times a week. As there was so much interest, I had to split the children into 2 groups with at least 80 in one group and 100 in another.

2000- 2001: Started teaching Capoeira with Body.com gym.

2006 Bedford College, 2 kids capoeira workshops. I introduced capoeira history, demonstrated movements and they took part as well.

Events Organised
2008: Ginga London. I choreographed the maculele performance, organised the workshop, one of the biggest capoeira events to take place in England.
2007: Capoeira grading, Finsbury Park. I ran the capoeira and maculele class following the grading.
2003: First parachute capoeira meeting , organised whole event including raising sponsorship, t-shirt printing, catering and a magazine interview.
2002: Army exhibition for the highest senior officers and generals capoeira self defence and maculele.
